This years AWBD (Association of Water Board Directors) Mid Winter Conference was a huge success, thanks in part to HCMUD 148 board members attendance. We are always striving to improve, learn, and implement new and exciting ways to better our district as a whole, and AWBD gives us that platform to network and share new and innovative ideas and concepts in order to improve our community. We would like to thank the HCMUD 148 board members for their attendance and for their dedication to the continuous education and motivation to making MUD 148 better for our community.

The back to school event was a success. We were able to help approximately 400 students who attend Sheldon ISD. Thanks to the volunteers for their hard work. Thanks to MUD 148 and its board members for, once again, supporting this event. Thanks to all the sponsors for their generosity. We also thank the non-profit organization “Everyone-COUNTS” for coordinating and organizing this event.

The Board of Harris County MUD 148 would like to thank everyone who came out for the grand opening of the splash pad. The Board would also like to thank the vendors, sponsors, and volunteers that helped make this possible.
